Om 8-ernes f\u00e6llespr\u00e6g l\u00e6ser vi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The four Eights are attributed to Hod. Being in the same plane as the Sevens on the Tree of Life, but on the other side, the same inherent defects as are found in the Sevens will apply.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Yet one may perhaps urge this alleviation, that the Eights come as (in a sense) a remedy for the error of the Sevens. The mischief has been done; and there is now a reaction against it. One may, therefore, expect to find that, while there is no possibility of perfection in the cards of this number, they are free from such essential and original errors as in the Lower case.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hvor vi tidligere har forholdt os til Merkurs v\u00e6sen, som det anes og erfares i Sv\u00e6rdenes <em><a href=\"http:\/\/nordaand.dk\/?p=2434\">Indblanding<\/a><\/em> og Skivernes <em><a href=\"http:\/\/nordaand.dk\/?p=3545\">Omtanke<\/a><\/em> drejer det sig nu om Stavenes <em>Hurtighed<\/em> &#8211; alts\u00e5 om forvandlingskunstneren i hans ildrigt skabende aspekt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Eight of Wands is called Swiftness, as one might expect from its attribution to Mercury and Sagittarius. This is an etherealization of the idea of fire; all gross elements have disappeared.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(Let there be a short digression with regard to the signs of the Zodiac. In the case of each element, the Cardinal sign represents the swift, impulsive onrush of the idea. In the Kerubic sign, the element has come to its full balance of power; and in the other signs the force is fading away. Thus, Aries represents the rush of fire, Lightning; Leo, its power, the Sun; and Sagittarius, the rainbow, its sublimation. Similar considerations apply to the other elements. See the Attributions section: The Triplicities of the Zodiac.)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>In the Eight of Wands, fire is no longer conjoined with the ideas of combustion and destruction. Above this restored universe shines the rainbow; the division of pure light, which deals with maxima, into the seven colours of the spectrum, which exhibit interplay and correlation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This card, therefore, represents energy of high velocity, such as furnishes the master-key to modern mathematical physics.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>It will be noted that there are no flames; they have all been taken up into the wands to turn them into rays. On the other hand, the electric energy has created intelligible geometrical form.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Merkur i egen sf\u00e6re og dermed i sin reneste fremtr\u00e6delsesform; her har vi ham som den, han (givetvis) faktisk er: Faderens sande s\u00f8n, budskabet fra den oprindelige vilje, Ordet fra oven, forvandlingskraften selv. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">P\u00e5 billedet ses Stavene forvandlede til str\u00e5ler af elektrisk energi &#8211; fremvisninger af den slags <em>vibrationer<\/em>, som findes under og i tingenes \u00f8jensynlige fasthed. Alts\u00e5: et billede af Verden, som den er &#8211; idet den opst\u00e5r netop <em>nu<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Above this restored universe shines the rainbow; the division of pure light<\/em> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">. . . <em>energy of high velocity . . .<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sandelig, sandelig ser &amp; siger vi: Flammerne er forsvundne; lykkeligt hjemf\u00f8rte til ildens ophav, forvandlede i Himlens kolbe. Kun s\u00e5dan kan str\u00e5lerne fremtr\u00e6de i deres renhed, udspaltede i altings s\u00e6re, sk\u00f8nne, selvhvilende, virksomme sammenh\u00e6ng. Lyset,  kraften og gl\u00e6den, ukr\u00e6nkeligt ubegribelige &#8211; vidunderlige at erfare.
